Moving to New Digs!
As some of you might be aware of, we outgrew our studio space quite a while ago. And in fact, as Mincing Mockingbird said, "We're not working from home, but living at work." So last weekend, we grabbed two sons (it's finally paying off having boys), rented a 24-foot truck and moved most of the studio up to the central coast. It wasn't easy, as they truck didn't quite have the power it should have (or maybe our magnets, calendars and books were a little heavy) to make it up some of the hills. It was slow going in spots. But after a few days, the place was actually workable. So now we'll spend half our time in LA, creating and marketing, and half our time in the brand new studio space, manufacturing and shipping. To go from a 400 sq. ft. space with two desks, six wire racks and a shipping station, to a 2000 sq. ft. space with two offices, a studio space, a warehouse space, a mezzanine AND a bathroom. I think it might be our Christmas present to ourselves.
