Sell-Out
It is with a heavy heart that I must report that my book It Is Folly To Assume My Awesome Lies Dormant: The Paintings of the Mincing Mockingbird is completely sold out and won't be available for sale this holiday season. I was taken aback by the popularity of the book, and wasn't really prepared to do a second printing. Then, when I was ready to do a second printing, the roof of my house decided to spring several leaks and demand a replacement. Ah, the joys of self-publishing/home-ownership.
That being said, publishing a book myself has proven to be one of the most thrilling experiences of my life, culminating with seeing my book tucked in the stacks of Barnes & Noble among my artistic heroes. Thanks to all the wonderful stores that carried it and to everyone that has purchased a copy.
Hopefully we'll have it available again in spring 2012.
P.S. - The person selling a used copy on Amazon for $299.99 is not me. I swear.
