STOLEN

I usually don't take original paintings to shows. But this year, since it was a show in my favorite city at Christmastime, I thought I would take a mess of new original paintings. We had a good looking booth, and all the original paintings were facing Kim and I.

At some point as I was wrapping up an original painting a customer had just purchased, someone stole the 8 x 10 original acrylic painting pictured above. It happened within a 4 minute period. Of course I ran around looking for it, even staked out the exit, but a thief is not going to carry stolen merchandise out in the open. At least the cool air calmed me down a bit.

I usually let karma deal with these situations, but I thought since it was a holiday show the thief might try to give this as a gift. So, thief or recipient - if you've followed my website information on the back of the painting and are reading this, I would like to appeal to you to return the painting. I won't press charges, you can return it anonymously.

But Mr. or Mrs. Thief - I want to make sure that you are enormously thankful - and consider yourself unbelievably lucky - that I did not catch you in the act of taking it.
